Choose one skill for a task you have

Start with a task you can judge. If you need a draft, look at copywriting. If you are weighing a business decision, read decision-council. For a website project, realtor-website-builder brings the research, content, and contact path into the same process.

Open the skill’s folder on GitHub and read its SKILL.md. Check the description and any references before installing it. You can choose a single skill; the Realtor Starter Pack brings together playbooks for an agent’s work.

Bring it to your agent

The library is designed for Claude Code, Codex, and assistants that discover SKILL.md files. Each assistant has a supported skill location. Ask yours to follow that location and your project’s instructions.

Copy the whole skill folder, including its referenced files. For the Realtor Starter Pack, you can give your assistant this prompt:

Realtor Starter Pack
Install the Realtor Starter Pack from https://github.com/tderoussel/agent-skills using the skill location supported by my assistant. Preserve existing skills and install the complete folders, including referenced files. Show me which skills were installed and how to use them.

For a single skill, replace “Realtor Starter Pack” with the folder name you chose. The repository also includes manual installation and Claude Code plugin instructions.

Try it on work you understand

Invoke the skill by name and provide the relevant source material. For example: “Use copywriting to draft a seller email from these notes.” Inspect the first result and adjust the instructions to your own work.

A skill supplies instructions. Connected tools and account permissions determine what the agent can execute. Installing a skill does not connect your inbox, CRM, or website.

Keep the parts that help and make the skill your own. The full installation instructions and license live in the public repository ↗.
